The Stillness Before The Leap

Daffodils have opened, and the plum trees are budding. Just last week, we finally had a decent snowfall — the most accumulation we’ve had this season. The snowscape up here is certainly one of the great lures. Everything becomes still and silent. Only then do I realize how constantly I’m moving.

Right now, I’m enrolled in three different training programs: the Electric Coaching Certification with Rewiring America, Green Energy Makeover Consultant training, and Momentum Mentoring for real estate investments. Each of these programs is preparing me for my next chapter as a consultant and creator of more sustainable homes. Ideally, I would have taken them one at a time to better focus and absorb the learning. But as timing often works, they all happened to align, and I couldn’t afford to wait months for the next opportunity. They are laying the foundation for what I’m about to launch.

I must confess — I’m terrified. This next step requires me to fully step out. The past couple of years have been a deep, internal journey, forcing me to confront the things that held me back. But I’ve reached a point where I can’t ignore the pull to take bold action and actualize my vision.

In many ways, this timing couldn’t be better. While I’m not actively working in the business, I’m immersing myself in the knowledge and skills that will shape what’s ahead.
