It’s been 3 months this Friday since we moved to our mountain house. A LOT has happened in the last 3 months — even though many things stopped in the world and some of us stayed home for the most part. Thousands of lives were lost; millions of jobs were lost; and Internet connection has become the most essential part of our life to stay connected and to keep our sustenance. In the last few weeks, the values as human beings have been challenged. And the movement is picking up momentum to make some huge changes in the world.

Indeed, things keep changing. As I walk my trails, I get to observe almost on the daily basis the changes in the vegetations. Daffodils were blooming when I got here. Then the plum blossoms, then the lilacs in my yard. The wild poppies exploded on the hills and went away. Lupines are still holding on. Now the wild roses in the field are starting. That’s just my little world of this mountain life.

Personally, there’s been significant changes internally for me as well. As we live through this now feel like the “new normal” way of living, I’ve let go of some of expectations for myself and others, probably more for myself. How this manifested was that I decided to move my real estate license from Douglas Elliman to a relatively new but powerfully forward thinking company called, eXp realty, who is completely cloud-based. They do everything on virtual space, no brick and mortar office anywhere. Without details, it was just better fit for my current life situation and my aspirations. The truth is that I don’t know how things will unfold in my life or in the world. I can only set my intention to always do the right thing and hope that I get to be a part of a positive change as a whole.

I lean on my meditation practice to navigate in this ever-changing world to choose the right path for me at every cross road I come across, to keep taking the next indicated action, knowing that I can make mistakes and that there’s no failure as long as I’m following the guidance from the Power greater than myself.
