Another Step Forward

For the last week I got to stay in Santa Monica taking care of the two rumbunctious kitties for a friend who went on vacation on the East Coast. It was a nice change of scenery from the mountains feeling the fresh sea breeze. Yet I ended up spending a lot of time on the freeways commuting to Temple City to show my listing. As I have gotten used to the tranquility, it was a little disorienting to be navigating the big city traffic every day.

The property I put on the market last week was a huge hit. On both Saturday and Sunday, the open house was continuously packed. And the reason I am late writing this is because I am dealing with multiple offers. This home was truly special as the young couple invested tons of sweat equity and money to convert this old 1963 home the wife grew up in and converted to a truly “green” home with numerous sustainability/resiliency features that make it so attractive. Without getting into the nitty gritty of the real estate business, I am so happy that there were so many buyers who truly appreciated and wanted this home. Whoever gets to be the new owner of this home would really be lucky as there’s nothing like this house out there.

Today, I can’t find much more to say other than that I’m so grateful to get to do this work that integrates everything I care about. When things get really busy — as it often does in our life, I keep reminding myself to take one next indicated step at a time trusting that I’m divinely guided. So here I go taking another step forward…
